Stephen has a unique background that combines both operational and financial leadership with consulting, investment banking and private equity.
As a former investment banker turned President and CEO of two service firms, he provides practical solutions and a proficiency for strategic, operational, and financial engineering that leads to intense value creation.
Mr. Boane has provided operational and financial leadership and management services since 1989 with significant experience in strategic positioning, operational improvement, capital sourcing, restructuring and bankruptcy.
Today Mr. Boane works with service based businesses to drive increased equity value. |

- Active turnaround experience through implementation of structured programs at middle market staffing company, B2B payroll processing business, and several business and consumer service businesses
- Interim Chief Financial Officer role in payroll processing business cycling $11 million per month through system
- Three years in private equity with responsibility for transaction due diligence, structuring, closing and post-acquisition monitoring. Experienced in arranging, structuring and operating within multiple levels of senior and subordinated financing
- Nine years in investment banking – numerous buy side assignments for LBO acquirers in the middle market, developed and implemented strategic acquisition programs in both manufacturing and service industries
- Three years public accounting with an emphasis on SEC reporting and buy-side transactions
- Masters of Business Administration, Rice University; Bachelors of Business Administration, Accounting, University of Texas at Austin
